In addition to our own production, our team acquires handmade rugs from various oriental countries. Only with fair trade conditions it is possible to get the most valuable rugs and to maintain long lasting relationships.
So as to trade with our oriental partners, we are often on site and able to check work conditions.

In contrast to most other oriental rug producers, Sultanköy is teaching and manufacturing it's own carpets. Thus, we guarantee not only a particularly high quality, but also a sustainable and ethical production. Our employees are a top priority because a handmade rug is only as good as its knotter.
